BROWARD COUNTY, FLA. – Broward County’s Port Everglades Department has scheduled a Public Meeting regarding its 2014 Master/Vision Plan Update on Wednesday, May 28, 2014.

The meeting, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Broward County Main Library, 100 S. Andrews Ave., in downtown Fort Lauderdale, will include a presentation and discussion of recommended 5-, 10- and 20-year projects in the Plan Update.

Port Everglades’ 20-year Master/Vision Plan plots a course for expanding and enhancing existing facilities in an economically sound and efficient, as well as environmentally responsible, manner.

The Update is part of a process that began in June 2013, with Port Everglades Chief Executive and Port Director Steven Cernak and his team working with port tenants, stakeholders and the community to revise the existing Master/Vision Plan.

For more information on the Public Meeting, please contact Natacha J. Yacinthe, Ph.D., Port Eveglades, at 954-468-0213.
