|Port Everglades Welcomes ICA

PORT EVERGLADES, Fla. (June 14, 2002) - The Independent Container Alliance (ICA), one of South America's largest shipping consortiums, has begun weekly service to Broward County's Port Everglades from Brazil and Argentina, adding in excess of 100,000 short tons to the South Florida seaport's annual waterborne commerce. ICA is the first new service and third customer to take advantage of Port Everglades' new tariff incentives recently approved by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners, the seaport's governing body.
ICA members include Montemar Maritima S.A., Zim Israel Navigation Co., CMA CGM and Hanjin Shipping/Senator Lines. South Florida Terminal Services is the terminal operator.
