Southport Phase IX-A

The purpose of this project is to redevelop the former Foreign Trade Zone into a new 24-acre cargo handling container yard facility to meet the demand of additional container yards. The project includes the demolition of large storage warehouse buildings to make way for the construction of a new yard. The project entails site work, including excavations, backfilling, compaction and grading, a new drainage system, security fencing, high mast site lighting as well as container yard paving, a new entrance driveway and exit way, and other improvements for use by future tenants.
