Traffic Alert - May 18 and 19

Port tenants and visitors may experience heavy traffic and delays this weekend, Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19 due to a volleyball tournament being held at the Broward County Convention Center. More than 9,000 attendees are expected to attend each day. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the convention center area and use the port entrances located at Federal Hwy (US1)/ State Road 84 and I-595/Eller Dr.

Sister Seaports

Port Everglades launched an International Sister Seaports program in 2007 and shortly thereafter signed on two seaports interested in becoming part of Broward County's international family. Today, Port Everglades has International Sister Seaport agreements with various seaports around the world (listed below) to encourage new business and trade between the organizations.

Current Sister Seaports

To become a Sister Seaport with Port Everglades, a seaport must commit to the ongoing free exchange of information pertaining to cruise and cargo operations, statistical information, and general market research.
