Outreach

Caribbean and global cruise vacations and international trade are what make Port Everglades an economic powerhouse for Broward County and one of the most diverse seaports in the United States. The port strives to be an active member of the local community and welcomes the opportunities to share how it's a leading cruise and cargo port.

Port Everglades is also South Florida’s main seaport for receiving petroleum products including, gasoline and jet fuel. Its Foreign-Trade Zone No. 25, office space inside the port's secure area and neighboring logistical warehouses make Port Everglades a highly desirable business center for world trade.

The port hosts several special events throughout the year and offers group tours of port facilities. In addition, the port's staff members are available to address business groups and community organizations through the port's Speaker's Bureau.
