Traffic Alert - Convention Center Traffic

Port users and visitors may experience heavy traffic in the convention center area on:

  • Tuesday, January 13th: More than 3,000 attendees at the Aspirea 2026 conference

Motorists are encouraged to avoid the entrance at SE 17th St. and Eisenhower Blvd., and should use the port’s other two entrances located at Federal Hwy (US1)/ State Road 84 and I-595/Eller Dr.

A Roadmap to the Future

Port Everglades is planning for the next 20 years with an updated roadmap for future growth that identifies more than $3 billion in capital investments to improve productivity for cargo, cruise and petroleum businesses that operate at the South Florida seaport.

The recently completed 2024 Port Everglades Master/Vision Plan Update was approved by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners, which governs the port as a self-funded enterprise fund, on Thursday, November 13, 2025.
