Feasibility Study: Eller Drive & McIntosh Road

The port's Seaport Planning section is working in conjunction with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four and Transystems to conduct a feasibility study for the intersection of Eller Drive and McIntosh Road located within the port’s jurisdictional area. The objective of this feasibility study is to identify up to five alternatives and validate a preferred alternative to improve traffic, mobility, and safety conditions at this intersection.

The Feasibility Study alternatives may include options such as no-build, safety/mobility/operational improvements, at-grade improvements, partial grade separation, and full grade separation alternatives, including the proposed I- 595 flyover project as identified in Port Everglades’ 5-year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).
