Port tenants and visitors may experience heavy traffic and delays this weekend, February 24 and 25, due to two different events being held at the Broward County Convention Center. More than 8,000 attendees are expected over the weekend. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the convention center area and use the port entrances located at Federal Hwy (US1)/ State Road 84 and I-595/Eller Dr.
Conveniently located in the heart of Broward County, Port Everglades is easily accessible by car, taxi, bus, train and ship. It is the only port in the nation located adjacent to an airport, making it easy to fly and cruise in the same day.

- State Road 84, located just east of U.S. 1, located at Spangler Blvd.
- I-595 East, located at Eller Dr.
Each entrance has a security checkpoint where cruise guests and visitors ages 18 and older are required to provide the following:

No weapons are allowed on port property in accordance with Florida State Statute 311.12(3b) and vehicles are subject to search.
