Construction-Related Traffic
Several Florida Department of Transportation construction and maintenance projects that involve lane closures on state highways in Broward County are expected to impact inbound and outbound port traffic.

- September 18 & 19 - I-95 Southbound Full Closure: All lanes of southbound I-95 at Hollywood Boulevard will be closed to traffic nightly as needed, from 11 PM to 5 AM, for sign structure installation.
Traffic will be detoured via the southbound I-95 exit ramp to eastbound Hollywood Boulevard (view detour map), to southbound N Dixie Highway, and then to westbound Pembroke Road to the southbound I-95 entrance ramp. Traffic may also be detoured via the I-95 southbound exit ramp to westbound Hollywood Boulevard, SR 7/US 441 southbound, and Pembroke Road eastbound to the I-95 southbound entrance ramp.
- September 25 & 26 - I-95 Northbound Full Closure: All lanes of I-95 northbound between Ives Dairy Road and Hallandale Beach Boulevard will be closed to traffic nightly as needed, from 11 PM to 5 AM, for overhead sign structure installation.
Traffic will be detoured via the I-95 northbound exit ramp to eastbound or westbound Ives Dairy Road (view detour map). Eastbound Ives Dairy Road traffic will be routed via US 1/Biscayne Boulevard northbound, and Hallandale Beach Boulevard westbound to the I-95 northbound entrance ramp.. Westbound Ives Dairy Road traffic will be routed via SR 7/US 441 northbound and Hallandale Beach Boulevard eastbound to the I-95 northbound entrance ramp. FHP will be onsite to assist motorists. Sunday, Sept. 29 will be used as a contingency night if needed.
